How the heck do you update the retail 1.0 version of counterstrike to 1.3!?!? It's bugging me and I can't update the cs just by using 1.3 full install!

As far as i know there is a separate update for the retail version. Check out www.counter-strike.net , they should have the correct update for the retail verion. -
if the one you downloaded doesn't work, download the other one. there are only 2 to choose from....
