    Keyboard and Mouse

Ok, so I got my new rig up and running, but I'm still using my old keyboard (a basic Microsoft internet board) and mouse (Logitech G7). I'm thinkin of getting new of both. Most of what I do is internet and gaming (mostly fps). Any suggestions? Only real reguirements are that I want corded keyboard and wireless mouse.

i've got a microsoft branded mouse, and have been very unimpressed by it. if i had the chance to buy over, i would go with a logitech. they give much better performance from what ive seen.

I had a couple first gen Microsoft wireless optical mice back in the day and I really liked them until one day they just stopped working. I then tryed a Logitech Bluetooth mouse and liked that until the batteries stopped holding a charge. I now use the Logitech G7 and loved it at first, but now it is starting to 'sputter', or purhaps lag would be a better term for it. My problem with wired mice is that the cord tends to snag on stuff, so that's why I want to stick with wireless.

the logitech g3 mouse is nice. most Razors are as well.

for a keyboard, i would recommend a Saitek Eclipse. i have used 2 of them over the course of 3 years now. they are very nice keyboards. also the keys are backlit. its a nice little feature when you have the lights off and are playing.

My wireless mouse has a charging stand, the batteries are never even close to low.

Cheap wireless mice are cheap. Buy good hardware and this isn't an issue.

When it comes to PC gaming, you really are only as good as your gear. Logitech understands this key concept and continues to produce some of the best gaming peripherals, including the G930 headset & G510 keyboard. The latest gaming mouse, Logitech G700, looks to continue this tradition of excellence, with an amazing thirteen buttons.

Yeah, thats the mouse I currently have, and contrary to the reviews, it lags big time, and some of the buttons tend to stick to. Battery life is decent though.

Odd, I have an MX Revolution and play games with no lag issues at all.

I have a logitech mediaplay, and the batteries last me at least 6 months (two AA batteries) and I use the mouse daily... works great for FPSes as well, not to mention the media buttons on the mouse come in handy, it doubles as a remote.
