Yeah it should be fun. I really didn't have much of an issue with McCain until he decided to forget all the "straight" talk and became a politician. When you change your mind on some very key issues that takes you from slightly right of center to pretty much running off the right side of the road just to become president it's a load. Now on some issues I am pretty left, many other I am right of center. I am pro gun, anti illegal/criminal alien, pro death penalty and there are a few more issues I am leaning "right" on. I do believe this country should NEVER EVER torture for any reason, and water boarding is torture. We are supposed to be able to claim the moral high ground and how can we do this if we do what our enemys' do? Now, do I think the dems are better options, yes. Do I think they are the "best" options, no. I honestly can't think of any career poly that I would want as pres. The reason I like Obama so much is he has not been in the game that long, he doesn't take PAC money so owes no "favores" when he becomes president, and he has a vision of what this country "should and can" be. He is bringing young voter, the peopel that will be running this country in 20 years into the mix..... people that before he came could care less about anything IMHO. People talk about his experience, I can name a few presidents that didn't really have any exp when they took office, our current pres included. What makes or breaks the president, as we see with the current dope in the WH, is the people you surround yourself with, the puppet masters if you will. One thing I do know is this countries economy is going into the pooper at a high rate speed and the people that should care, those in power, are only worried about getting their pockets and those of their buddies in big business lined before everything implodes. We need to keep American jobs in America, not send them over seas.... I would like to speak to someone that understands the english lanuage when I have an issue with my credit card. Our people need to be making the next great fuel tanker, not the workers in Europe. Free trade, wtf is that? Trade deficit is at an all time high. It is time for a change and that does not come with McCain or HC IMHO.

This I can somewhat agree with you on. I am a strong conserative, and I dont believe any of the canadiates will do what I believe is right. They all have their downfalls.

-McCain wears flip flops. He has experience, but tries to play both party lines.

-Hillary is just another Bill, and will be in bed with anyone that benefits her personally

-Obama I don't trust as far as I can throw him. The lack of experience, and achievements makes me think he will turn to his "advisers" to make decisions. I don't want Jesse Jackson running our country. I do strongly agree that Iraq is still unstable, and we need to finish what we started (Rather it was a good or bad idea).

I will also agree with you on one of obamas strong points is that he is not a lifetime politician. Again tho. I dont want him to learn as he goes. Regardless of past presidents (they can be written off as mistakes. We cant afford to make the same mistake twice now.)

Edit: there is a mccain banner at the top of AO. That has to count for something.
