    Yay! bike is coming together finally.

    well some of you know that i wrecked my bike last september..some of you saw it as well.

    well i just got all of my parts

    fairings(full set)
    upper fairing stay
    throttle sleeve
    new grips
    spike bar ends
    new DB smoke windscreen
    seats (front and rear)

    plus a few other odds and ends

    looks like i will have a long night! gonna start on it after work at about 10:00.

    i have to do mine as well. parts are still coming in and i dont want to start until there are all in. good luck with ur fix and hope nothing goes wrong for you.

      yeah. I'm in a similar situation. Winter is almost over and it's time to get the bike together. I've got a new shock and mirrors coming. I'm rewiring and remounting the instrument panel too. We've gotta have a "show your bike" thread once the season starts and everyone gets their bikes put together.

          argh..that reminds me..i have to replace a my fork seals before i can ride .. i was hoping to take it out when i finished tonight before the snow comes.

            Is that tough to do? I've never actually taken my forks apart before.

              nah..im 17 and i can do it on my own..takes me about an hour for both seals..


              anyways!!!

              i got alot done tonight..had a buddy help me and we were done around 2am this morning..here is where she sits now!

              this was installing the fairing stay and the upper fairing stay.


              and this is mounting the front( hardest part.)



              and after all of that..it all sort of fell in to place.

              it looks so good to me now..

                oh yeah..sorry for the bad pics..my camera just wont take normal pics any more..puts lines and crap through them..

                anyways..you get the idea.


                gonna replace my forkseals tomorrow..make an undertray..and hopefully my windscreen shows up! and then..im goin riding

                    its almost hard to believe that those are EBAY fairings..they lined up so perfect..i didnt expect them to line up at all really..and i got the ENTIRE set for $380.00 shipped to my door!

                        yah..im going to try to pull the tank out and maybe put some bondo over it..i dont really need a new one, its still functional..just looks bad.

                            there wont be much bondo..just what we wont be able to pull out...and you cant really tell when its all painted..and im gonna have the whole thing painted soon..not gonna stay primer grey :)
