I have to say something about this...

    The phrase is:

"The point is MOOT" not "The point is MUTE". I've seen a lot of this lately.

    Thank you for listening.

A big shoutout! to SNL for using the word "MOOT" in the title of a skit.

Actually, it is: "The point it MOO, like a cow's opinion."

      Funny.

I guess that would be similar to "the time is nine' instead of "the time is nigh". I've seen that one a few times also.

I will always go with the cow's opinion, by the way.

Yeah... and what is this about something peaking my interest? It's "piqued," people!

And "are" isn't the same as "our." You can't say, "Are team is better than yours."

And "to" "too" and "two" are different words too.

Man... I could go on all day. I like this game.

While we're at it, and to quote Winston Churchill, ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I cannot put!

Lol, I typically have www.m-w.com open when Im typing on forums. I tend to misspell (just looked that one up) words all the time. Now, I typically don't proof read and that is why I have so many mods to my posts when getting serious (that one too). I can remember movie lines like no one else, but cant remember english rules to save my freakin life. My English 101 freshman year of college, the prof gave us some famous (that one too) author's pasage in which he used no punctuation. I was like, yeah what ever, and put "I don't feel it is my place to change the original intent of the author in this original work" and turned my test in. Guy wrote good for you on it and I got an A..... Lucky me. I doo know it is moot though.... Yes I ment to do that.

On a side note, I do know all my helping verbs. My 5th grade teacher made us test on them every day until the entire class got them all correct. I went to school in Apopka Florida, so those of you that know the area at least back in the 80's know how long that took. To this day, all this time later, I still know those freaking helpers.

For all intents and purposes. INTENTS AND PURPOSES! "Intensive purposes" makes no sense and means nothing.

Just another reason, that Firefox (browser alternative to IE) wins! Internal spell-checker. It underlines misspelled words, and a simple right-click fixes.

                        Could you care less?

Properly, it is: "I couldn't care less."

                          This is true, but...

Firefox always tries to replace the word "Autococker" as "c**ksucker."

Kinda freaks me out a little.

Haha, that's actually pretty funny. Keep in mind, however, you can add any word to the recognized dictionary with that same right click.
