I don't own one, but I know people who have shot them quite a bit, and they seem happy. It's a fun plinker, though the .40 will be more expensive than the 9mm. The fact that they use standard 92 mags is a nice feature.
What is the criteria for a weapon to be classified as a submachine gun for your event?
EDIT: I just watched the video, nice shooting! It's better to take your time, like you did, when doing it for the first time. The only thing I'd recommend is keeping the shotgun shells in your left pocket. When you reload, keep the stock against your right shoulder, and load them using your left hand. Try and do it by feel. It's a good habit to get into. The muzzle on the shotgun was moving around a tad much.
