Saw Indiana Jones with my son today...

Took my son to see the latest Indiana Jones flick at the local theater. My kids' eleven, so he wasnt around when the last one came out. I realized while we were sitting there that I was eleven when my dad took me to see the first one.
    :)
    Thats cool stuff.

I give it :) :) :) outa 4 stars. Had the same kind of fun energy as the others. The ending was a little too fantastical, but enjoyable anyway. Ford does really good for his age, and I plan to look that good when I reach mid sixties (God willing).
          Was a good time.

I thought it was a good movie but a little too predictable, especially at the end. It seemed like all of the characters, especially the bad 'guys', did exactly what I expected them too.

But like I said, good movie overall, full of action, comedy, and Shia Laboeuf :)

I loved the shot at the very end with the wind and Indy's hat. Make no mistake, there is only one Indiana Jones!

there maybe more Jones movies made. Except Mutt will be the central Figure. Kind of a neat tie in Indiana was the Jones' dog when Indiana was a boy. Then Mutt takes his nickname.

I have to say the original 3 were better. This was enjoyable though.

To me it just didn't feel like IJ. I thought that there was way to much CGI and not enough real life action. It was entertaining but I wouldn't have spent $11 to see if I had the choice again.

Exactly, it didn't keep with the originals as well as I expected. I almost didn't feel like I was watching an IJ movie.

I do have to admit that I liked how they kept the "punching" sounds that were in the origanal. Maybe a tad cheesy but a good throw back.
