Wait, are you taking the O2 from electrolysis and feeding it to your engine?

I'm pulling HHO out of the water with electrolysis.
two parts hydrogen one part oxygen, also known as browns gas.
I know of two other Tacomas with these installed and both are seeing 2-3 mpg increase.
Not much but its essentially free, and although its increasing drag on the alternator the HHO helps the gasoline burn more complete so you're actually gaining efficiency.Comment

From what I've read, in the tacoma the ecu is open loop from through the low range of RPM and closed loop in the high range RPM so you really only see benefits for closed loop, otherwise the ECU just dumps extra fuel in because the H20 generated through combustion messes with the 02 sensors, in the open loop
I believe this to be Tacoma specific though and don't entirely understand all the ECU mapping etc. etc..
I'm really just trying to gather info and experment more with this HHO generator before I decide to install it on my truck.
As, I don't want to blow anything up! Or kill batteries
if this has anyone interested you can search for the user ZeroFossilFuel on you tube he has a bunch of videos on the subject.
Edit: I also have heard there was some guy, stan meyers I believe, he was apparently getting amazing results and supposedly got shut down by the feds.
Idk, might just be some kind of conspiracy crap it makes me curiousComment

Thanks!
I will, although now I'm second guessing myself. One of the guys running this on his toyota is on a military base in Germany, he has a optima battery in the back of his truck and uses it to power his cell.
He charges it at night off the nuclear power grid.
So perhaps I won't see any gains in mileage or maybe even negative.
We'll see...Comment

I'm really interested to see if this works. If its got a gain, even a little, in efficency I want to try it in my car. How hot does the water get when the electrolysis is in progress? And do you know how long the water supply will last before needing to be refilled?
Oh and by the way that light bar looks good...I wish I still had access to some good metal working equipment. Back in highschool me and a buddy built 2 giant sized bumbers out of 12inch wide U bar/channel (?not sure what it actually was?). When done they ended up weighing in at around 200lbs.Comment

Where in germany, and why is nuclear grid different then anything else?Originally posted by maxama10Thanks!

Minimag, I have yet to really run it from my car, I can tell its drawing a lot more amps from my battery than my little power supply allows it. I need to figure out how many. I've heard reports from guys with more advanced cells of temps around 100.
Also, I think the water will last you some time, there are something like 1800 gallons of HHO in 1 gallon of water, IIRC.
Thats some heavy stuff! I made a bumper out of 3/16th rectangular tubing
think there are pictures of it on here somewhere.

He lives in Kaiserslautern doing some sort of tech work for the military, gets to play with computers and such all day.
I have another friend I went to highschool with and they live in Landstuhl if you are familiar with the area. I wanted to take a train from Hamburg to Landstuhl but it was going to cost like 400 euro!
I just threw the nuclear in there for the sake of environmentalists, I would think theyd be happier that way vs coal fire or such.
I could care less honestly, in fact I want to go to Mackey school of earth sciences, at UNR, to study mining engineering. Could very well end up with coal.
but thats all a different thread.Comment

Wahoo! tacomas rule!
ps. regarding the recall. It's actually awesome to see that kind of customer support on trucks 10+ years old. I have a 95.5 and it's pretty much rust free
Nice light bar budComment
