      Seriously I would ask of the carrier you plan on using. My bet would be UPS as technically even shipping a paintball marker via USPS is against policy.

        Ship UPS, go brown. US Postal X-rays. Pack well as if you are shipping to yourself and expect it to be tossed & stepped on during transit. Anything that cannot be opened will be delivered without incident. Only leaking packages and packages that spill a powder are pulled and inspected, anything that could be a hazmat is opened and examined.

        Here is a link to article concerning air gun & paintball silencers. It mentions of a man mailing a pellet gun thru US Postal.
