we only use heartguard and frontline (or maybe its advantage)...either way it seems to work good.

Most Veterinarians will renew most of those without having to see the dogs if they are regular Patients. You can normally simply go by and get them. The Heart Worm preventative and the Hot Spot and Ear Mite treatments are all things they will dispense without a visit. If the Dog has been going for its regular Shots and stuff they have the records and I don't know many that will not simply refill those things each year.

However, they make a living off that stuff too. So they are not too fond of sending you to Pet Doctor dot com when they got a over head and business to run.

the vet that we occasional went to, and absolutely loved died last year. our other vet we dont "go" to the vet. we pay the vet to come to us (~60 dollars). It is simply too hard to take 9 great pyrenees, 2 maltease, 1 terrior, 1 lab mix, 30 cats, 70-80 goats, and 6 donkeys. There is a charge each time they come out regardless of how much work they do. If I can bypass the hassle of having to bother them/meet them I am going to.

The whole point of this thread is that I would like to purchase this stuff online. Yeah I could get the vet to come to us or take a half day off of work driving around luging around 100+lb dogs picking up the stuff, but IMO that is crazy. IMO there are some things that need not be restricted. Obviously the FDA does not agree. Next april when the vet comes out I will make sure that I remember to ask for this kind of stuff.

Yea. I see your problem and it is unique. I guess that having him come and discussing it with him is he best solution. Perhaps you could call him now and lay this out to him. I expect, he might come up with a solution for you.

            Good luck with it Mann.
