My little town. national disaster area.

like 3 dams broke here and it hasnt quit raining in like 2 weeks. most the town is under water. some parts of the town just look like lakes with roofs sticking out. all the rivers are over the banks flooding everything. over half of our town was evacuated. i live on a hill and dont ever have flooding problems. but ive been out sand bagging since 7 am yesterday morning and its now 5:50 pm the next day so im going to bed. ill put some pics up later tonight.

my dad is chief of the fire DEPT. here and he got me out at 7 am. to help. we managed to save alot. but you feel so helpless when a dam breaks and a 16 foot wall of water is heading right for a trailer park. looks like we have a few more days of rain to. better go to sleep. im sure ill be back out tomorrow.
