For the picutres, use the lowest aperature setting lens you have. What were those shot with? I'd say a 1.8 would work well, along with a good ISO setting. Not sure how your Nikon does at high ISO though.

Guess you've never gone to college, many people have opted out for bad beer in exchange for getting drunk. Heck, when i visited my brother when he was in college he drank MGD, stuff was horrible but it served its purpose.

i started out shooting at ISO 100 with an aperature of 2.8 and shutter speeds right around 1 second to 1/10th

after a while i switched to ISO 800 with F2.8 and shutter at around 1/30th most of the good images came from this setup.

tripod used for both. any recommendations other then what i tried? i got 2 more nights to practice

the d80 on ISO800 actually does far better then i though it would, infact all my paintball pics on my flicker are taken at ISO800 with little to no grain on most of the images.

I hope you mean plasitc or fiberglass and not PVC. PVC is brittle, and will turn into shrapnel if your shell accidentally explodes inside it.

I think its some sort of pressure rated ABS.

but yeah... next to the sparkler bombs, that was the loudest thing on the block.
