My gosh that movie was awsome.

So did anyone stay to see if there was anything after the credits?

I wanted to but the large root beer caught up to me at the end.

            Epic movie was EPIC.

Caught the 1201, paid for it with 1 hr sleep before work afterwards. Couldnt be happier.

It was a good movie, but it suffered from Spiderman 3 complex(the tried to put to much in one movie) I'm still voting Ironman as the best superhero flick of the summer.

Saw it last night. Im still meh about Bale. Overdone. What else can be said about Ledger as Joker? I laughed so hard at the 'crappy remote at the hospital' scene. Must have been made in Taiwan. Overall much better than the last one though IMO.

The problem with Spiderman3 was not that it had too much going on but was that Sony pressured the director Sam Rami into putting Venom into the film. A character he did not like or understand that well. That's not a good combination when your director is also a lead writer for the film.

Venom could have been much deeper in Spider Man 3.

However, I was really hoping there would be an entire movie based on the secondary villian in Batman, I was hoping all of that was just lead up once I put it all together.

In Spiderman 3 Venom seemed like an afterthought added just to make some people happy. Venom needed to be the only villan in his own movie.

In The Dark Knight the secondary villan was the same way, the movie should have ended in a set up for his own film instead of cramming him into the last half hour and killing him in the end. It ruined the movie that was so good until then. Joker was awsome, great acting and fit. Bale is not a great Batman, but does well enough to look past it. They just should have resisted the urge to add the second villan.

Or simply left him there as a possibility to those who knew the comics. Because I was so thrilled at the thought of the next movie around him as the villian.

My only criticism is Bale's Batman voice...sounds like he needs a throat lozenge
I blame it on the cowl, because it seals off his nose if you look rather than leaving it open, so it makes it sound like his nose is plugged up (since it pretty much is).

As for the joker...Watch as i make this pencil...disappear. ...Ta daaaaa.

I found it amazingly done, because in all his other movies Heath Ledger still shone through the character somewhat, in this one he literally did a trick and disappeared into the character.

And as for the other villain, i saw it coming a mile away, but i was hoping it would be another movie, but i liked how it was overall much more realistic than past batman incarnations.

I think they left it very open for Dent to still be alive. The only problem with pulling that would be that a movie revolving around Twoface and no Joker would not be nearly as good as this one. Unless they got Depp for the Joker, I think he could pull it off.

                                saw it last night.

front row for imax, while amazing, is less than optimal.

                                other than that...

it really is a shame that ledger died. you can see that they were banking on him for another film. i know i would be, he was absolutely fantasstic. as has been said before, i wathced the entire movie without once thinking, "heath is doing a great job as the joker". it was just, "wow, the joker is great." he really made that character come alive in a way that surpasses even ron pearlman in hellboy. (and pearlman is wearing full body prosthetic makeup!)

i couldn't help but laugh out loud at the dissapearing pencil, and the hospital remote.

even my girlfriend wanted to go pee, get popcorn, and go immediately to another showing in a real theater.
