    Sat TV to PC? For Real?

    Anyone know if the programs for sale on the internet are for real?
    They seem to range from $30 to $100 and claim to allow you to watch live Satelite TV on your computer with NO FEES!!!

    Does anyone know if these are all scams or not?

      Hmm, a friend of mine has a "slingbox" set up, it's basically a receiver that streams his TV over the internet. He uses it to watch American TV while he's at school in Ireland. It's basically hooked up to his TV at home, so he can watch his channels anywhere (though he still pays for the cable service).

      Never heard of this sort of thing, though, but I'd be skeptical. Doesn't sound legit, that's for sure.

          Well there are a bunch of different programs listed when I google it.
          My dad wants me to buy him one but I'd like to find out a little more first.
