Hmm, I've heard a lot about that from astronauts. I'm skeptical, but there are a ton of credible witnesses, like astronauts and air force pilots...

If this is true, how crazy would it be if our government (hell, any government) came out and confirmed it? "Panic in the streets" doesn't even begin to cover it.

I am not sure nor sold on the "panic in the streets" theory. Looking back as a kid born in the early 80's...seems like I have been pushed Alien this and Alien that my entire life...Alf, ET to the predator....I kinda think "Gen Y" and above could handle it...

History also has its many "world view" moments...WHAT World ant Flat? WHAT Earth ant the center on the universe? ect...ect...

Anyway I am a skeptic...albeit a very curious one...it all makes for a great read!

I would like to believe that we were even smart enough to know that aliens had really visited, or for that matter currently are. Yes MIB style even.
This is a great large vastness we are surrounded by, and it is not hard for me to imagine that there is life out there of some sort. But what are the chances that that life form has intrest in us, needs the same things, or even has the capacity to care...much less to get themselves here?
So if they meet all the criteria that they need similar things to us, travel or appear in such a way that we would even recognize and question, and whatnot would they not have the capacity to be here without us knowing in the first place?

What I mean is that if some alien lifeform was so advanced that it could make it here, had some reason or ability to have a social interaction with us in the first place then either they would be intelligent enough to hide well among us, hide from us...or not care about covering it up and just appear.

Person X claiming they saw Y means nothing. It is sorta like person A claiming their marker shoots farther than person b. Smoke and mirrors can easily fool you if you let it.

theres a simi;ar discusion on PBN in the polotics section. people there just dont understand you have to prove it WAS aliens flying some craft, we dont have to prove it WASN'T. just because you dont know what it is dosnt make it an alien spacecraft. sore jerk saying he heard that aliens were real dosn't mean crap either if he has no evidence to support these claims, or that these conversations even happened.

i hope so because there is sweet FA around here on Earth!

has an intelligent life form from another planet visited Earth?
if it's intelligent, i don't think it would come here.
we have been transmitting into space for a long time, as they got closer they would be able to detect, decode, and study those transmissions.
this would give them reason enough to stay at a distance and make contact through other means; if that is their actual goal.

any unexplained craft seen in the Sky any where on Earth I will venture the opinion that they are not extraterrestrial.

more likely experimental craft of military origin belonging to one government or another.

the "Alien government cover up" is a wonderful self perpetuating lie.
the more the government says "no we don't have anything" the more the media guys that make money off the conspiracy theory nut bars will convince people that we don't know everything.

funny how this comes up shortly before the media release for the re-make of
"THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL" arguably the best Sci-Fi story ever written.

get everyone thinging about Alien life again, then release the movie, we will make millions!
not as much as "DARK KNIGHT" but hey consider the source material.
