Has AO been suffering an increase of spam posts? I mod over at shockerowners.com and daily, actually hourly, we been getting random users as a spambot. Everything from porn site links to cialis. There was even one that suppoisedly was a CPA wondering whether he should file bankruptcy etc. Is there much I can do, or should the admin start IP banning?

Yes, we were hit like a tsunami. Rob built a new security code while Beemer, Tuna, and I were in an hourly ban fest.
The separate confirmation code seems to have the spam-bots slowed to a pitiful crawl.
