I was not aware that the night before Thanksgiving was a "heavy drinking" night.

From what I've been told (no, sorry, no academic source to link to), the night before Thanksgiving is actually the biggest bar night of the year. No school/work the next day, all the college kids are home and going out, etc. Couple that with some people having extended family in town and there's all the more reason to go out and knock a few/bunch back

I call it amateur night. All the amateur drinkers acting foolish and trying to hang with the big doys. It's all good I'll be out.

Heading out in a few mins. Got my DD too. GF tore her ACL Monday so she can't drink. Bad for her but good for me! Stay safe for those heading out for amateur night!

                          huh

a tore ACL means you can drink? or is the drinking and crutchs a problem?

About 4 martinis deep. Thinking about Sambuca and a cigar while I'm watching the turkey frying. Last year I was outside by myself the whole hour.

                              Drinking + meds = bad
