    Need help finding a laptop

So, like the title says i need help finding a laptop suitable for what i want it for. I am in the marines and am in afghanistan and dont have much time to be online, and the lines are so slow that i dont really have access so surf around looking for what i want. So if anyone knows of some good deal or anything the help would be appreciated.

I am looking for a gaming laptop that i will be able to play WoW, music, get on FB and surf around the net at the same time with no probs. I have not had a new comp in years, and the last one i had was a desktop i built.

    Things i am looking for in it are;

-be able to have it for years and still be able to play new high-demand games
-around 1500$, give or take a few hundred

when i get back to the states it is going to but hooked up to my 24" westinghouse monitor, and am going to use a diff. mouse ad keyboard so the screen, mouse, and keyboard are not big things i will be loooking for. Also i am going order an external HD and keep everything on it, so the HD does not have to be very big.

Usually i would enojy looking around for this kinda stuff, but i dont really have the time here, and i want to have it before i get home... possibly have it sent to my FPO here along with a few games to keep me busey. So if anybody has some suggestions or know of good online deals, please help me out.

I bought a m50vm from asus. Have no complains and absolutly love it. I run every game at high. Nothing lags. I have COD4, unreal 3, dead space, devil may cry 4, fallout 3 and splinter cell3 on my laptop right now.

Paid 1250CND$ at the end of the summer. Close friends own a computer so i got a great deal.

I had an acer for 2 years and crashed every other day. I will never go back to that. ASUS ftw!

ASUS M50Vm-B1 Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 (2.53GHz) Processor, 15.4" WXGA+ (1440x900) Display, 4GB DDR2 Memory, 320GB Hard Drive, DVD Super Multi Drive, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GS 1GB (1024MB) Graphics Card, Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium

    Edit:

Might as well put in a link:

I was going to say anything you buy this year will not play high demand games next year.

I would looking into best buy. They have a great warrenty program that will even clean out your laptop when you bring it back full of sand.

Lots of the military guys I know like this warrenty.

I just picked up this at Office Max on sale for $699. Has ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics and BluRay player.

also, if you feel that money is no object, check out the panasonic toughbook.

nevermind, they don't make one for gaming

it would probably cost upwards for $7k anyways

not the same direction your going... but I am going the netbook route here soon. As the primary function I want out of a lappy is internet access on the go and file mobility.

So I am waiting, very impatiently mind you, for the ASUS T101 tablet to get out.
