UC Skydiving Club Raffle
Hey all,
I'm the president of the University of Cincinnati Skydiving Club. For one of our fundraisers this spring, we are doing a tandem raffle. Let me fill you in for those who have never jumped before. A tandem is where you are strapped to the chest of a licensed professional who will take you for an amazing adventure.
You'll climb to 12,000 feet before the door in the plane will open...
The cool air rushes in...
You feel your heart beat suddenly double.. you start thinking landing with the plane wouldn't be a bad idea.
You're in the door, looking over the edge, amazed by how far you can see and how small everything is when suddenly...
You are weightless, flying towards the ground at 120 miles per hour!
The flight is amazing. You're in full control, doing 360's and having fun before the instructor pulls the parachute around 5,000 feet. After a few minutes under the canopy having more fun, but still blown away at how amazing the last minute of your life was, you will land safely and comfortably. Most first time jumpers won't even be on the ground yet, when they'll tell their instructor they want to do that again.
OH and did I mention? That included in this raffle is a videographer/photographer who will document the entire experience so you can show your friends and family the time you "jumped from a perfectly good airplane!"
The UC Skydiving Club is raffle ends this friday, april 24th at 12:00 midnight.
Tickets are $1 each, or 6 for $5 dollars and the package is good at Start Skydiving in Lebanon Ohio for the entire year. (around an hour away from Columbus and Cincinnati)
