Ok, this is how the workers permits work. You find a job, get hired and then you send in for a workers permit for that company/job. So say I work a Taco Bell and then I want to get a Job at Burger King. I have to get two sperate workers permits...

Your best bet is to wait until you're older, then get a job. You don't really want one anyway, once you're a worker you're stuck for the rest of your life.
I just applied at a bunch of record stores yesterday, but all of them you had to be at least 16, many of them 17-18 before they'd consider you. You might be stuck with a crappy job if you really want one before you're 16.Comment

I know I could have a good job this summer, Last summer I worked for my uncle at all of the schools doing maintance. I worked 40 hour weeks, 8 hour days. From 6am to 2pm. I made $1500 and I even got a Tax refund! Got $100 back. So I made out pretty good I thought, but yet also I blew most of my summer working considering that I couldn't have been doing something else. The way I look at it, I have more money stored away now for a rainy day.
