AO Sig Images should be between 10-15K.... not 42K.

how do you resize them?

i also always wondered how to resize them, and when i look at the properties, i get bytes... how do i convert it?

You bring them into a graphic editing program and either compress it, change the file format to GIF and reduce the number of colors used, make the whole thing smaller in size (what you SEE, not byte size), or a combination of those things.

i use PAINT to resize mine

use the edit tab then "paste from.."
paste the picture
click on image tab
then use "stretch/skew" and "attributes" to resize
then save as GIF or JPEG if its small enough

Dude... that SMALL picture is 44K... the amount of space is not the only concern on AO, but file size as well. Please read the posts above.
