Grandmother not doing well

My grandmother was taken to the hospital a few days ago.

Looks like she has taken a turn for the worse. They were talking about moving her to a rehab facility this morning so they could work on getting her strength up. Last night she went down hill and they won't be moving her from the hospital and are going to assign a team to make her comfortable. No timeframe has been given but it doesn't look like it will be long. I am guessing probably a few days.

Met with the team they assigned this morning. They think it could be anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months. We decided no special measures should be taken including blood transfusions.

I'm taking it pretty well as is mom. Been hard on dad.

Been there, it was probably the worst feeling in the world to get a call from your mom saying they're moving your grandfather into hospice care. Especially when you're 4 hours away and in the middle of a hellish school schedule.

However in the end it worked out better that way, it was nice being able to have time to prepare for the worst; it softens the blow.

my Mother was taken this morning, possible medium stroke, she's 91...wont know until tomorrow if she is ok......so my young friend, my condolences go out to You and Your Family...Prayers are there....
