What was so wrong with - get a service / product and PAY for it out of your pocket.
As more and more people are "given" health care benefits from their employers health care costs continue to rise. How many raises have you not gotten because your insurance benefits have gone up in cost? I bet more than once. The point is the more removed and the more it is a "given" the more "abused" the system is and the less accountable providers are for the charges they leavy.
Its gotten worse and worse with private health care - as the insurers and administrators get richer and richer. Both in the insurance company and the hospitals. "Doctors should cost money" - ok, but what about the administration costs and the administrators making far more than the practicing doctors?
And somehow we think its going to get better by pushing the costs for all of us onto the top 10%? Come on, its just going to be less accountable to the actual people who pay for it, and more abused. Want proof, walk into an ER and see how many people there on government aid should be in the ER (paying ER rates) or waiting for an appointment monday morning to see the family doctor. The only difference - government pays in the ER (or noone does, forcing the costs on those that do).
I also suggest one research what role class played in the Roman civil wars. People - you get paid what you are worth, you pay what you buy is worth. Things work. that self insure!!
Pg 30 Sec 123 of bill - THERE WILL BE A GOVT COMMITTEE that decides what treatments/benefits you receive.
Pg 29 lines 4-16 in the HC bill - YOUR HEALTHCARE IS RATIONED.
Pg 42 of HC Bill - The Health Choices Commissioner will choose your
Health care Benefits for you. You have no choice in the decision.
PG 50 Section 152 in HC bill - Healthcare will be provided to ALL non US
citizens, illegal or otherwise.
Pg 58 - Govt will have real-time access to individual finances & a
National ID Healthcard will be issued.
Pg 59 HC Bill lines 21-24 Govt will have direct access to your bank
accounts for direct funds transfers.
THIS MEANS IF YOUR BILL IS $1000 AND YOU DON'T PAY IT BY A CERTAIN DATE, THE GOV'T WILL GO INTO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT, WITHOUT TELLING YOU, AND TAKE THE FUNDS TO SATISFY THE BILL.

You got that right! We have tax payers, we have govt that redistributes wealth of the tax payers, we have non-tax payers. Tax-payer-working-class are the new age slayves. the "poor" non-tax paying peeps houses I've been in have nicer cars and TV's than I do.Comment
