Did anyone watch the Ong Bak 2 trailer ?
Wow.
Ong Bak: Trilogy | Starring Tony Jaa | 3 films Time Magazine calls “exhilarating” with relentless, fever-pitched action free of stunt doubles and special effects, Jaa performs some of the most awesome physical feats ever seen on film. Watch on DVD, Blu-ray™ or Digital.
Never heard of Tony Jaa before.

Couldn't agree more. That trailer almost looks like it's a spoof of the first one =( I've waited this long for that? Really?Originally posted by neppo1345That movie is going to be terrible.

Yeah unfortunately this looks pretty terrible.
And this might be unpopular, but if you remember loving Boondock Saints back in the day and have fuzzy nostalgic memories but haven't actually seen it in a while... I would suggest not. I just watched it again for the first time in a long while, and man, it wasn't nearly as good as I remembered. Maybe I've become a movie snob or something (note: I haven't), but there was some pretty awful acting in that movie that I didn't remember noticing previously. Bleh.

Yeah, the first time you aren't looking for flaws or anything, and so the movie seems great. I saw it again and it wasn't anything special, it was cool but i never understood the cult following, it was a movie written in the wake of pulp fiction and tried to be like it. This second one looks to be about the same, worth a look but nothing special.Originally posted by BobTheCowYeah unfortunately this looks pretty terrible.

Ummm, it didn't look anything like Pulp Fiction nor was it written like Pulp Fiction. However the movie was well written and there really isn't any movie out there like it. That I know of at least.Originally posted by snoopay700Yeah, the first time you aren't looking for flaws or anything, and so the movie seems great. Actually i forget where i read it but it was inspired by pulp, and even took a joke directly from that movie. There are parallels between the two (reservoir dogs too to an extent).Originally posted by Archangel KidUmmm, it didn't look anything like Pulp Fiction nor was it written like Pulp Fiction. And i don't mean it was shot like or was written like pulp fiction, but the general idea behind it had the same sort of feel. Regardless, it still wasn't a great movie by any means, and willem dafoe was easily the best part of the movie.Il n'y a point de sots si incommodes que ceux qui ont de l'esprit.Comment
