The National Parks: America's Best Idea

I've been watching the Ken Burns dock on PBS and I have mixed feelings about it. I find it to be very interesting and informative but I'm not sure if I like it. I thought it was going to be more about the parks instead it focuses on the people who loved the land and created the parks.

All the jumping back and forth from park to park is a little... I like the progression as time goes on show more color photography and video but I want to know about each park.

I'm going to give it a thumbs up. Still got two nights to go.

I went camping a few weeks ago in Indiana. I woke up early before anyone and when I was walking around I came upon this.

I'm like a junior Ken Burns. JK

At least there aren't any campers (trailers) there.

When I was buying gear this year they tried to sell me stuff for "well you'll like this if you don't have to carry it, for like when you stay in parks". I explained to them I have a 30' RV for when I stay in parks and thats just not camping

I love any program about our National parks.
Making our 6th trip to Yosemite this weekend, with a couple more before the end of the year.

Liberty Cap and Nevada Fall from the John Muir Trail.
