First of all, spanky bodies are the biggest peices of ***, (friend from work got a fishbone) the body tubes are GLUED in place, and electro cockers plain old don't work. The electronic timing sequence is so fast that it doesn't let the hammer fully hit the valve before the backblock yanks the cocking rod backward again, therefore making it velocity during rapid fire. and who would want an electro cocker anyway, if you ever shoot any eclipse or evolution cocker (or anything else from belsales for that matter) they have the most orgasmic triggers in the industry.

Other than that I fully support goose on the whole accuracy, lp thing. i know i'm in a mag forum but the cocker is undisputedly the king of Markers. The mag has to many inherant design flaws that the cocker doesn't have, i.e. the on/off, the massive shredding of paint, etc. I am pretty sure, tom kaye being the genius (please start making 6-paks again!!!!) that he is will some how make the mag evolve or phase it out with something new though.

I didn't see the dropoff during rapid fire w/ the Sandridge I played w/ this weekend, so I can't agree with that. Like I said, though, reviews to come.

This is basically an experiment gun, to see how it plays. Since Free Flow'ed Race's aren't exactly all over the place for sale, I couldn't be too picky.

Besides, I got a hell of a deal

Well, one other quick comment. 'Cockers are king, yes... except the ROF. Electronic grips seem to be the way for them to overcome that. I don't think there is any player who has been around that block that hasn't had times w/ electros (be it an Emag, Angel, etc) that they didn't know they would have made the shot w/ a 'cocker. Maybe I'm chasing the Holy Grail, I don't know... but like I said, I'm experimenting. I'll give it a shot and give ya'll my honest opinion.

I really don't give a flying puck who thinks my gun is pretty & who doesn't. I'm looking for a fast, accurate gun, bottom line. I'm hoping this is it.

It's great that some of you want to sit around and bash my gun. That's fine. I posted it here because some of the people I count as friends know how long I've been looking for a RaceGun, and they also know that, owning several E-Mags, I can be objective. Anyway, I don't know what my point is, other than quite a few of the negative replies have been annoying. You think I overpaid. You think it's ugly. You think it won't perform. Well, we'll see. This is something I've wanted for some time now and took the plunge, and I'm satisfied --no, I'm happy-- with my decision and the inherent risks.

If electro cockers where so bad, why are they all over the place? Guy down the street from me has a free flow with a hyperframe on it and it rips. No problems yet.

Welp instead of this turning into a cocker/mag.. ugly/sweet.. purple/ umm.. not purple thing. Lets just wish him luck on his purchase and let him know we'll be there if he needs to get rid of it (last part was a joke.. seriously) I personally don't like cockers, namely due to the fact I'm luckly I have the mechanical ability to screw in a tank, but I have respect for anyone who can work on one when needed. Have fun w/ it.. just don't wear purple or we'll have to call ya Grimace.

I'll be happy too. Hopefully getting this will be able to set the score straight in my mind about how it comes up in the standings.

About the only guns I haven't had experience w/ are Excal's & Impy's, so I'll try to give an across-the-board comparison.

F.Y.I that picture is only a prototype micrococker-type gun.
the whole idea is to get rid of most of the recipricating mass that the ram has to push, leading to quicker cycling times. that gun has the original race frame on it too.
Overall i would absolutely take a race-gun over any sandridge any day. Sandridge is overpriced, and their guns are maitanance nightmares and aside from the advent of the tiny tornado the HUGE battery/electronics bundle on the bottom of the grip frame isn't to pretty either.

by the way i'm not trying to be cocky about any bodies guns, i just tell it like it is (i'm an airsmith)

P.S. Goose, i'm sorry if i came over as "bashing" on your gun, spanky bodies look sweet as hell, but with the experiances i've had with them, i wont touch them anymore
