Who here know a lot about computer games?

I really am looking for a new game(not exactly looking to buy on forums but I might consider it). I want like a medieval version of heavygear/mechwarrior I'm looking for a medeval game. Hasta be a game were you control your moves and not like a battle mode. Something like blade of darkness, rune, and gothic. The more hard to control the better, the more complex fights the better. Know any?

i don't think there are any. the onese mentioned so far are nothing like what you want. you want an medieval fps. warcraft III is an rts. DAC and Baldur's Gate are rpg's. if you want an old game die by the sword gives you direct control of your sword. it's a bit dated but it's supposed to be the most definitive sword fighting game. i found it too difficult to control but that is what you asked for.

Age of empires 2...thats all I can say to you. 13 different civilizations(18 w/ expansion.) Every unit in the game has a counterpart, so the armies must be made exactly correct. There is castles, pikemen, paladins, champions, you name it. It has a pop limit of 200 people and you can control your armo any which way you choose, from the formation to the stance they are(attack, stand ground, defensive, scout etc...) This game is real time strategy i dont know if thats what you were looking for because i havent played any of the games you have listed. All i know is this game had me hooked for 2 years straight, its that damned good.

I have got a ton of computer games I no longer play anymore. If you pay for the shipping, I will send them to you. Some have scratches on them but I could CD doctor them and they would work fine.

            Fallout
            Fallout 2
            Delta Force 2
            Grand Theft Auto
            Diablo
            Worms 2
            Worms Armagedon

That is all I can think of but PM me if you want them

SORRY I JUST SKIMED YOUR POST THOSE DON'T FIT UNDER THAT CATAGORY.
            Famous SEAL quotes:
"Give us your mind, and we will take care of your body"

"We aren't superman, he does things the hard way. Why leap tall buildings in a single bound, when you can blow it up and walk over the rubble"

"Pain is just weakness leaving the body"

"It is not my job to judge our enemies, that is God's job, it is my job to arrange the meeting"

"I will treat you all the same, JUST LIKE CRAP!"

once again gotta post and let you know these aren't what you want. PEOPLE HE'S LOOKING FOR FIRST OR THIRD PERSON SHOOTER WITH MEDIEVAL WEAPONS! AOE2 is another real time strategy. talls already edited his post to say none of his fit. and Might and Magic is turn based. like i said i don't think there's any new games that are what you want. although there might be and i just can't remember it. there's some hybrid games coming out (swords and guns). may want to take a look at those.

for difficult to control, complex sword fighting i really think you should take a look at die by the sword.

Actually might and magic isn't turn based, its real time. The monsters can and will attack without waiting for a response from you. Although it isn't what you wanted I thought that I'd throw it your way.

What about dikatana, never played it, isn't midevil but it does use swords no?

"rune" is a 3rd person fighting/quest game with norse/medieval settings and weapons. not the best game on earth, but still a fun play.

BC - Do you want his copies of Fallout and Fallout II? I have been looking for those games for months, and I can't find them anywhere. No stores sell them anymore, and I havn't even seen them on Morpheus.

Please let me know, because I'd really love to get my hands on them if you don't want them.

                            LISTEN TO ME!!!!!!!!!

Dont play "Dark Age of Camelot" or "Ultima Online".
Both are very addicting and a big waste of time. I played UO for 2 1/2 years...hours on end at my pc. They can be very fun but they are the DEVIL! I played DAOC for 3 months and just sold me account for $300. on Ebay, which isnt bad. and Im about to sell my UO account(hopefully for $200-$300).

                            hehehe

Screw those damn games! Return to Castle Wolfenstein is the best 1st person shooter right now!!!!!! GET IT!!!

Thinking of switching over to DAOC from D2X

I've taken my chars about a far as they can go. Once I lerned all the trick it was easy making cvlv 6 matriarchs/patriarchs and 38 hour clvl 99s.

                              DAOC seems lke fun.
Return to the free market. Get rid of all government regulations and let society make it's own decisions. Time and again the relaxing of government regulations has increased profits, innovation and the economy.
