I know I'm going to be the odd ball here.... but my favorite hiking boot is the Scarpa ZG65... the kilash is a little nicer but we're 5 years into this pair of ZG65's as paintball and everyday boot (summer and winter). The super aggressive side tread is great for those quick start and stop movements. Way too many people miss me because I can suddenly swerve sideways in the mud and muck

P.S. They are still waterproof to this day with no treatment... kinda pricey though, I'm looking at about $160-$185 for a new pair. Damn best hiking running boot's I've ever had!

Inov-8 X-Talon 240's : Read about these recently and they are designed for paintball... Plus you might like them because they are the closest thing to molded cleats without being cleats you can find...

read it here on page 84 : http://www.shootinghotmagazine.com/Jan10/pageflip.html

Designed for ultimate grip for trail & ultra running, cross training & hiking. INOV8 is the world's leading all-terrain footwear, apparel and equipment brands

$86 dollars here and the cheapest price I have found so far : http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7618594/c/13952.html

I am in the Army full time (my branch is Ordnance Corps) and when I was in Afghanistan I was working for CJSOTF-A (Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force - Afghanistan) in the Electronics Shop and a SOT-A Team... When I was in Iraq I worked for the IED Task Force... I loved those boots so much when I got home I bought 2 more pair for off duty wear...

Are there no "paintball" cleats still being made ?
I have a pair of mid high JT's that I really like but after years of abuse
they are starting to get pretty haggard.
I am starting to look for some more paintball cleats but theres not $100.00
                            in the budget for that.
What I'm finding is small size cleats everywhere.
6-7 and 8, but forget about an 11.
