    Ebay...

So, relatively recently, I sold an midlblocked cocker I built on ebay.
Buyer contacted me, and I explained that the gun would need a reg n barrel, they agreed and bought it. Payment went through fine, I shipped, and recieved comfirmation that they had recieved it.

A week later, I get an email from ebay telling me a case has been opened, and I'm like, hmm, maybe they didnt fully understand what a reg was or something, so I contacted the buyer. No response, Ebay then contacted me and asked me to call them to give more info on the case (actually gettin thenumber to call them is a huge pain...)

So I'm talking to the representative, and he tells me the buyer told them that the valve tool was missing, which I had said I would include, and I'm pretty sure I did include it. But whatever I thought, the rep agreed when I said I could reimburse or replace said part, and so I send another email to the buyer telling them what I could do. The rep also told me they woulld put the case on hold so that I could speak to the buyer.

No response, I instead get another e-mail from ebay, saying the case was to be decided in the buyer's favor... at this point, I'm like, wth??? I call ebay again, ask them what happened to the hold that was suppose to occur, and what exactly happened with the case... They tell me there's nothing they could do about it, the buyer wanted ebay to end it for them.

So I'm thinking, well, I got royally screwed, I have 100% feedback in the 300's, while the buyer has a feedback of 1, and even that does nothing...

So I wait for the package, and before the package arrives, yet another email from ebay: "We have closed this case since we have recieved no response from the buyer, so no refund will be required"... and I'm thinking, um, ok then

I then get the package a few days later, I open it up, find the gun, except the 3way is torn apart, the lpr is scratched, the airlines missing, and the valve tool gone. So at this point, all my suspicions are found true: the buyer either just didnt like it, or ended up screwing it up, and so instead of contacting me, they try to get ebay to agree with them that my listing was not as described, a rather easy thing to do it seems.

So, despite ebay working against me, I ended up with my gun again, and no refund to be sent, karma hurts sometimes...

I still havent recieved any contact from the buyer, tho I will likely call ebay again to make sure the buyer cant do anything anymore.

And I find it a little sad that the buyer doesnt even need to try to contact the seller before being allowed to open a case:/

ps: I must say, I've never run into any kind of problems when buyin n sellin my mags... nother reason for me to stick to em

Glad you didn't get screwed. Ebay/paypal have always done their disputes odd IMO.
