    Insert Appropriate Title

This story came from one of my cashiers.

She has a friend down state who has a son that is 21 years old and autistic. He stays at home while his mom is working and they are in contact every hour. During a phone call the son told his mom that he had caught a troll and put it in the closet. The mom replied that it wasn't nice to catch trolls and it especially wasn't nice to put them in the closet. The son kept on going on about it and the mom didn't think much of it. When she got home she found all of the furniture in the living room pushed against the closet door. She started to move the funiture and had her son help. When she finally got to the closet door she opened it and found a little person (midget) standing there. The little person had been in the closet for 7 hours. He was a Jehova Witness who was going door to door. The mom explained her son the little person and the little person was understanding and said that he wasn't going to press charges and went on his merry way.

Well that is it. Just thought I would share.

My neighborhood has a serious problem with religious twits going door to door.

We get Mormons and Jehovahs Witnesses most often, Baptists, and occasionally Christian Scientists. At least twice a week a group "rolls through" meaning that periodically throughout the day you'll get knocks on the door because they don't keep track of where they've been. If they're Mormons they'll write down everything you say to them, as well as recording details about your home and address. More often than not, they'll show up during breakfast AND dinner.

I had a "No Trespassing" sign and they ignore it. I added "No Soliciting" and they just keep coming... Thankfully I know the police force pretty well from work. They have no problem removing these people from my property and giving them warnings. After repeat offenses, some of these jokers have been arrested some on criminal trespass charges. Apparently all I really needed to do was have an autistic son with a creative streak!

Think I've gone too far? Here's my logic.

My neighborhood is pretty nice, but I live on a main road that's a conduit between a really crappy neighborhood and the center of town. We end up with people tossing trash everywhere, trespassing in search of "shortcuts", and there's serious issues with property damage. To date, we've had enough robberies and break-ins that it makes sense to have cameras and a security system... There have even been a few home invasions, one involving a stabbing.

I'm worried that one of these idiots is going to go skulking around after dark and get shot.

While the story is funny I seriously doubt its true.
Because Jehovah's Witnesses travel in pairs.
I've never seen Jehovah's Witnesses in anything but groups of two or larger.
I'm pretty sure they are not allowed to do their service alone.

Last Jehovahs witness i had come to door i politely explained my religious beliefs (catholicish not as much guilt) and asked them not to return unless they would like a cup of coffee or to talk like people not obsessed with religion, because answering the door with a gun didn't work the first time. (joking never pulled a gun on them) Haven't seen them since.

You can stop them by posting a sign "No Jehovah's Witnesses".
              They will respect that.
Or you can just keep telling them "hi" when you open the door.

I enjoy them to coming to my door. I witness to them.
I cant think of anything better than talking about God and His Word.
They dont know what to think about someone that reads the Bible daily,
actually believes it and can answer their questions using scripture.
After that last discussion about 3 years ago,
I guess they have my place marked now and dont come back.

If they do I will be happy to spend all the time they want talking about God's Word.

We had a serial one in San Diego. She would stop by and talk with my wife. It was great when she did this during my wife's Bible study with a few other ladies from the neighborhood. When asked if she would like to join, she declined. She did bring a younger girl on a few occasions, but for the most part, she was solo and dropped off the Watchtower deal.

Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, Christian Scientists? I love 'em, send them to my house. It just creates new and exciting opportunities to scare the crap out of complete strangers who just happen to be some of the most naive and gullible people you'll ever meet. Always look on the bright side of life. They're not annoying, they're fun to play with!
