    Can we talk about something else? We used to from time to time...

    I like the faster pace of FC but must it be political? This used to be one place where I could come and see guns and trucks and etc. without having to hear about how guns and trucks and etc. are bad. And there was a political thread from time to time, but they were actually good threads with discussions, not name calling and what half the other threads have devolved into. When that started to happen, everything was always locked down.

    Just sayin...

          Its more of a, are we really making anyone feel unwelcome. If not no big deal Back when this was a more popular board with more transient traffic it was probably a bigger issue.

              Not sure I see the relevance with this one... Plenty of paintballers are also shooters, so it would make sense to some degree that this be posted.

                          Personally, I'm fine with politics in FC. As people spend more time online, I've noticed that some rough edges get smoothed down a bit. But we will continue to have people strongly disagree.

                          I just try to make sure I don't look like a jerk, regardless of if I agree or disagree on a given issue.

                              I don't see a problem with the politics. People are behaving, but yes it does get to be a little much.

                                      Well I didn't look at all the threads, but I'm sure I've posted up in a number of them... The point to me is we are all in this together. So why not discuss it? I thought FC was supposed to be like the local watering hole. Where folks could come sit, have a drink, socialize, et al and then go on down the road.

                                      Oh well.. if you don't want any of the stuff mentioned then I guess you need to post up more PB related stuff so we have less political, religious, etc stuff to talk about... :P

                                          Of course, Moderator license is at issue here.

                                          As long as any political thread stays civil, adult, and factual, we will allow it...and sometimes join in.

                                          When the "you're a poopyhead" posts start to fly, the ban stick comes out and thread locker is applied.

                                          I'm as, and much more, political than most here, and find it very hard to not jump in with nasty comments on many topics
