      LOL! Fair enough.
not gonna lie, yeah it would be fun. I bet it puts down an impressive muzzle flash

My biggest deal is that for most competitions my rifle/ammo combo has to produce a minimum "powerfactor" a value calculated from the bullets mass and velocity in grains and ft/sec. that way it puts everyone on a level playing field as far as felt recoil and ammunition effectiveness on long range steel targets, and to keep folks from loading really light loads for up close to reduce muzzle rise on rapid fire close targets. Most 16" AR's have a hard time making the minimum.

To be honest I always thought AR pistols were dumb. Then I got in on a deal for AR receivers. I didn't need a 4th AR but I couldn't pass up the deal. I had it transfered as just a receiver just in case I wanted to do a pistol. When I went to the Knob Creek Machine Gun shoot in April I couldn't pass up the show special for a kit. I didn't know what it would be like to shoot since I never shot one. It was way more controlable and accurate than I expectd. Everybody who sees it wants to try it. My buddy in the pic shooting it now wants one.

This is why I have a 36" barrel on all my paintball markers.

          /kidding, hopefully obviously

To actually add something, here is what a CA legal AR might look like (at least that's what the interwebs told me):

God....I guess I was probably returning videotapes.

I plan on building one, because in Ohio, its Illegal to transport (in a vehicle) loaded magazines.

UNLESS you have a CCW, then loaded pistol mags are okay. - This also allows you to transport a loaded pistol.

An AR pistol, and a few loaded pmags would be nice to throw in the trunk

Oh yea.. definitely. There's a place online that sells a really short buffer tube with a swivel on the end. . Lone star rig anyone? Question, can you mount a foregrip on a pistol ar?

No, I think you could if you pay for an AOW stamp.

Personally, a handstop works just as well for me.

Hmm, I'll see his nice Garand and raise with my semiauto version of its battle field brother the 1919A4 mounted on a MAG58 tripod. Now who wins?

Leupold makes a special run pink scope...would look great on that 10-22.

For all you California AR shooters or want to's:

All the Cal legal means to own an AR, and a great site to meet local to you shooters and dealers.
