An AR pistol, and a few loaded pmags would be nice to throw in the trunk

Weak... come back to Nevada. We may have the highest unemployment rate in the country, but we have some damn cool laws!

You got me on this one. I can't get my wife to try shooting. I do get her to come and work the manual clay thrower for me.

To actually add something, here is what a CA legal AR might look like (at least that's what the interwebs told me):

Not exactly correct. The rifle I posted is CA legal. Its identical to the ones in any other state with the exception of the 'bullet button', which makes it a 'fixed magazine'.

Look it up, its a great way to comply with the letter of the law

I'm looking to build an AR in the .308 range. I like the look of the REPR but can't throw 5K at anything right now. Any suggestions?

I stopped by the local shop and played with a very nice DPMS AR-10. Can be had exactly as I want it for a very nice price.

Something like this one.... Just need the Magpul stock and glass. No bipod required.

                      Flipups:

                      Magpul Mbus
                      Matech
                      Troy

                      just to name a few.

                      Solid:

Carry handle or Chopped carry handle.

Yeah. hard to beat milspec when it comes to the rear sight... if you dont want flip ups.

The only thing... maybe look into a smaller aperture, or a hooded aperture. other than that they are pretty much good.

I changed my front sight to a ball.

                        I really like it.

                              Ah, nice handstop

My rifle is currently undergoing transformation.

I put a 12" quad ail on it.

But, Apparently my paintball gunwhoring days havent quite worn off, because a couple days later I flipped it for profit, and now I'm debating what to put on.

                              Probably a TRX Extreme.

                                Thanks, it worked out perfectly!

Well whatever you get throw it on the driveway to get that used operator look.

First I've heard of these TRX rails, new thing by Troy?
