It's still snowing... I hate snow...

Yesterday, after class I was planning to go with my team and some friends out to Davenport to the field out there and play a few rounds, since at the time it was about 27 degree and we would be under a winter storm warning until 1 AM. We all thought.. hey we can beat the snow if we get out there, play a few games and come back. So we planned to meet at our captain's house, the first car was full so like always I'm following them in my pickup wasting gas... wasting wasting wasting!! I get over to the LZ, and there the cap sittin on the porch at his house.... I was 5 minutes late and thought they had already left. I shut off my big ol' GMC, and walked over to him... he had called the field, and they were closing at 5. (Note: it's about 3:45 right now.) But anyways, we were still making plans to go and look around, since a few of us haven't been there in a year. So we wait.. and wait.. and wait... and up comes the other car up the lane at 4:38... this would not have been a problem accept the field is over an hour away.

So we planned on going this morning at 10... and if any of you guys watched the weather channel last night.. well Iowa is getting hit by THE BIGGEST snow storm... I've got an 8 foot drift in front of my garage.. and the ground has 2+ feet on it. So not only did that tick me off... I have monday off, we planned on practicing... well not anymore, it's supposed to snow into the night and into tommarow...


I hate snow..

note: still deep snow.. crappy roads... luckily, my truck has four wheel drive, the fact that I have an 8 foot snow drift in front of my garage is another issue.

Well in NH the lack of snow has caused a serious problem... if we don't get MUCH snow or RAIN, we will have one dry summer.... NOT a good thing.
