Should have joined the marines. Camp Pendleton has a paintball park on base.

The Weekend Warrior is Southern California’s Best Paintball and Paintball Lite games! We are open for walk-on play every Saturday and Sunday from 9:30AM - 4PM.

Don't go to Riley. That place is the armpit of the army. They have a field on base but when i was there it was just a speedball course. No woods. That was back in '01 though. The base still sucks goat balls. If you have a boat then you might enjoy the place.

There's plenty of Army bases in CA. I'm sure you been to NTC about 20 times by now.

I have actually never been to CA. I have never lived in any of the states (I'm from PR).
The only states I have visited are FL, NY, GA and SC.

Your an E-5 and never been to NTC? Have you been over seas your whole carrier?

I never went either that's because I was over seas my whole carrier in the Army.

I was stationed in Riley the last year in, hated every last second I was there. Turned my jump boots into sandals and never looked back when I left That place was the reason I got out...that and my body couldn't take it anymore.

Currently stationed in Ft. Livingroom, MD.

You should get your choice of duty stations coming from an OCONUS tour. At least that was the deal when I was in. Use it wisely if you have a choice, I didn't and picked Ft. Riley. I was heading to a Medevac (aka..Murder-Vac) unit. I was thinking it was going to be a cake walk from the units I had been in previously but was seriously wrong. I would have rather stayed where I was at in Germany getting shot at then go to that place again

You might have a different experience due to your MOS but being a 67T in a medic unit...It was the pits.

As of right now I still have some time to decide, that is why Im asking for everyones opinion on places. As for right now my wife seems to prefer cool weather places so we have been looking at FT Carson, but again Im asking for others suggestions.

                              Thing we are looking for:
                              - Weather that is not much higher than 75
                              - Close to good paintballing
                              - close to, but not in the middle of a city
                              - cost of living that is not too high

                              All coments ans sugestions welcome.

Anywhere in California is good. It can get hot here though.

Edit: Colorado is horrible 4 to 6 months out of the year. I hate living anywhere in the rockies. Wind, snow , and rain for 2/3 of the year. It can be beautiful though.
