    Got a question

So i am talking with this kid online and well.... we have a bit of a difference here.

The kid was telling me that my X Valve didnt have the lvl x in it. I bought it brand new straight from adg. Also, he seems to think that every thing i said(see below) is wrong. Can i get some help here?

"Dude, its an X VALVE, that is the valve specifically made with the lvl x inside. Hence it being called an X VALVE. The ult is the on/off part in the valve. Don't try and be little me when I probably know more about mags than you. I know what I put into this mag and a ult is not one of them. You can buy a used ult for like $20. So before ya start making assumptions about my mag, research your facts. Not only is the body rare, also the RPG Splinter trigger. And for future knowledge, the X VALVE is the ONLY valve they are making right now. The e-max was for emags(not in production) classic(not in production)r/t valve(not in production) the x valve is the only one being made when called for, with the exception of different colors of x valves. So please, know your fax before you start calling out uneducated statements. And for further knowledge, they DON'T make X valves with out lvl x in them. The X Valve was specifically made for the lvl x."

It might help to know exactly what the "kid" is disputing. If he is saying it doesnt have level X, a simple shot of the end of the powertube and the bolt will show this. X valves do come from the factory with a Level X, but they can be switched out for a Level 7 which in some cases I have heard of. Also, a shot of the on/off will show whether it's a ULT or not. Seems like all simple stuff that would be proven pretty easily with a couple of pics. If he is considering buying the MiniTac marker you have listed for sale, perhaps he is just trying to be sure he doesnt get any surprises. I bought at RT Pro last year off of Ebay and it came in with a Level X bolt, but Level 7 powertube fitting and spacers. I don't blame him for being careful. $600 is a lot of money.

Only dispute I see is about the body. I beleive Rogue did some of the Mini Tac bodies and those are somewhat rare. However, if it isnt a pro done body it isnt that rare considering all you have to do is cut down a Tac One body and you have a MiniTac. Probably the same reason you had someone asking in your thread if it was a pro done body or someone working with a hacksaw and bench sander. Not that there is anything wrong with a home done job, I have two such bodies, but there is definitely a difference in workmanship between a profesionally milled MT body and one done with hand tools.

        My $.02.

Plus, the RPG MiniTac also has dual detents and isn't cut as short as yours. Looks like yours was cut 1/8 too short, as the rail stick out, as opposed to being flush with the body.

I meant that people sometimes switch them out, not that they come from the factory that way. Just to clarify.

well i think the other end of this conversation is mistaken. Thats all. But the Level X in the X valve we know this so i guess everyone can and does make mistakes.
