Malwarebytes official site: all-in-one cybersecurity software for all your devices. We provide antivirus, anti-malware, VPN and scam detection for PCs, Macs and mobile devises. Powerful digital protection, always by your side.

Download the free one, then update it, the run a full system scan.

Then delete the bad stuff and reboot comp.

The problem isnt always finding it, it's getting rid of it. I got some sort of trojan virus on one of my previous computers and our IT guy spent probably a good day or so fixing things, downloading fixes etc and it still came back. In the end, they just loaded up a new HDD and sent it to me to swap out. This time it was loaded to the hilt with antivirus software.

There seem to be lots of nasties out there these days. I have had issues with simply clicking on pictures, some of which were posted on reputable forums. You click on them and next thing you know something is downloading ont your computer. I really wish the jerks that come up with these virus' would use their talents for doing something useful.

Unfortunately, a lot of the free antivirus software is free for a reason. Hope it works out for you.
