Army - I wouldn't argue with your point of view there, but there are a few things you are missing.
First off, the fact that we, as a country, would need to be reminded very 6 months of something so tragic boggles my mind. Its a sad commentary on the state of our nation.
Second, I doubt the motivations of the networks. Seems to me its just a ratings ploy at a time when CBS is slumping.
Third, I have heard that the majority of the families of the victims did NOT want this special aired. They felt it was too soon. How would you feel if you lost a wife or son in something like this, only to see them on TV in a "special" 6 months later? They are trying to do their best to forget this and put thier grief behind them. (Forget thier loss, not the attacks). Putting up this special this soon after the attacks, going against their wishes, is terrible.
