Saying only people in New York truly care about the WTC is like saying only people in Hawii cared about Pearl Harbor. As you see while we preach remembering things of this nature you just overlooked it. Noone thought about that apparently though, but in reality we lost as much as one another on that day. As someone else said more events happened that day and to say one person lost more than another person is just not right. NOONE can judge what people lost on that day. While some lost family members and to them my heart goes out, others lost things that can be valued the same as human life. Sorry if that offends anyone but that is the principle America stands on. Some people lost what we perceive as our FREEDOM. The right to be safe, etc. we all know what this means. Freedom is as important as a human life in my book and if I must die to keep millions free then that is a sacrifice I would make without regret. My view of the show though goes like this. It shouldn't be pushed in our faces how bad some of the people suffered, but that is not what that show was for. I didn't see much of it but from what I did see it showed how heroic the men and women were, and that is what it was for.

Freedom is somehting they lose, but they dont(on the average) feel bad for those who had to be there, or those who lost someone...
Who says we don't feel bad?? How exactly do you know how we feel, because I on the other hand am as saddened and upset at those lives being taken than anyone else can be. It angered me as a Human and an American, and for that the taliban and all supporters should hang. I had to say that to show exactly what your statement was implying. Once again if you think noone feels for the people and families that were lost on that day then apparently you haven't been watching peoples reactions all over the free world. We all feel awful for the families and wish there was something we could do to help, but for now the best way to console the families is the catch the son of a guns that did this and make sure they never do it again.
    Famous SEAL quotes:
"Give us your mind, and we will take care of your body"

"We aren't superman, he does things the hard way. Why leap tall buildings in a single bound, when you can blow it up and walk over the rubble"

"Pain is just weakness leaving the body"

"It is not my job to judge our enemies, that is God's job, it is my job to arrange the meeting"

"I will treat you all the same, JUST LIKE CRAP!"

that's funny, i remember hearing about some kid(about 15 i think) losing his brother and father who were at work. next day he shot himself in the head. you felt just as bad as him huh?

i don't know about you guys, but if i had to choose between the lives of my loved ones, or my freedom, i would give up my freedom. i think that's so extremely selfish. if i lost my parents, i wouldn't need my freedom because it really wouldn't matter. don't get me wrong, this country is based on freedom. but to say that losing it is just as bad as losing your family is just ludicrous.

we all know what pride is. i think we are all grateful to live in this country. i couldn't possibly imagine anyone being born in america and not loving thier country. does that mean we have to show this everyday of every year? because we don't show some sign of gratitude to this nation, means we aren't patriotic? just because we don't wave a flag in our front yard every day, doesn't me we don't love this country. so what if they're jumping on the bandwagon. it's a great frieking bandwagon. i think downing ANYONE for showing pride in this country, even for a stupid reason, is shameful. since when was it wrong for being proud of your country because everyone did too?

Its shameful to not actually believe what you are preaching. I have a lot more respect for someone who actually believes what they present on the outside. I dont think the actions are shameful, but rather the reasons behind some of the actions.

I say what i say, and believe what i say, because i know human nature. On the average people dont give a damn, im telling you right now, they never will either. If you all werent so busy making youself seem so all knowing, you might sit back and say, you know, he might know what hes talking about. I lived in a different location when this happened, and i can honestly tell you no one here gave a damn, some poeple said o its sad, thats the most i have heard on the topic...its sad. Which it might be, but my point is proven, they didnt care...

Shartley, is right, most people probably dont even listen to anything i say. I'm not adult, or old compared to some of you. However my opinions are shared throughout both my parents, and my grandparents, and my 13 year old brother(the other 2 are too young) So, i believe my parents and grandparents have been around long enough to know whats been going on, if you think i create all this on my own ur quite wrong, im influenced by the people around me(my family)

That is not what I said. I did not say to not listen to any one group or another. What I said was to look at who is saying what, and take into account who they are. Big difference there.

I did not mention some things early on, because i am not loaded wiht time to think them through and every little reason to everything. My posts are a lot like my reports for english, i make them up as i go. That is why they(at times) lack a lot of togetherness, as well as leave some points out i must add in later. And now i must bid you adieu, its time for school

Out of curiousity, did anyone happen to record it? I would very much like to get a copy of it. I would pay for dubbing or tape costs, and shipping.
