AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
There's a lot mentioned here that would work, but they definitely weren't the new things on the radio since I graduated in 1999. When I was in high school, the bands that were putting out new stuff that I liked were Creed, 3 Doors Down, Caroline's Spine, Metallica, etc.
We had a rock radio station at the time (not a single one in my area now) that would do Mandatory Metallica every night at 9pm, and on Tuesdays they'd do a two-fer all day long (two of one band's songs in a row). My school was small, so my Triginometry class was only 3 students. After spending 15 minutes on a lesson, we were allowed to listen to the radio and work on our homework. We called in and made a request before school, and the DJ's mentioned us on the radio saying that we were listening to 107.5 during class, and played our request. It was an awesome day for a high schooler, lol
The other weekend I was helping out my in laws at their store.
Green Day's When I Come Around hit the radio. I thought to myself. Dang, this came out when I was in 7th grade maybe? It was the first CD I ever bought.
Kids working in the shop were born 3-4 years after the album release.
