Was 6 this morning. Felt like -6. This is the coldest winter I can remember. I live in southern IL. not Chicago. And I've already seen 2 feet of snow.

We may actually get some snow tomorrow that stays long enough to play around in. Schools have already been canceled for tomorrow I think i'm going to play hookie from work and play with the kids. People around here can't drive worth a crap on the ice anyway.

Right. You may be a hotshot cold weather driver, but these folks will hunt you down like they are driving bumper cars.

Even the hotshots suffer on wet ice though. It's funny to see a car simply follow the crown of the road and settle gently into a ditch.

Yeah anything out of the ordinary goes on around here and people just get stupid. My truck got slammed from behind last year because people were to busy looking at a Rainbow and not watching the cars in front of them. I was sitting still cause traffic was stopped and the car behind me got hit by a van going about 40 mph. At least I got a new truck bed out of the deal...13K worth of damage over a Rainbow...Sheesh.
