    Strange question...

Do people age because of a gene that triggers aging? I had a vague flahsback to maybe a week ago talking about something of the sort.

Also cellular deterioration. Cells can only reproduce so many times. And, when they do, it is no longer perfect like the first one. So, aging has a lot do do with many different factors. That is why we will never stop doing it. YOu cant hide from the sun, increase cellular reproduction efficiency, and run 8 miles a day indefinitely. Aint gonna happen.

No, there's a gene that controls the cell reproduction in the body. It is supposed to tell the cells to not be perfect and change with every reproduction.
