Is it weird that I never knew what ten pin was as a kid? I think I saw it on TV when I was 5 or 6 and thought it was strange, then someone explained that's how they do it everywhere else.Comment

Candlepin is much harder than 10 pin.
Its also about 500x more frustrating when you wing the ball down there at 40mph and it plinks through one pin.Comment

lol you are throwing to hard. I have a guy that bowls every week and throws nothing but heaters. Took me two years to talk him into taking 10mph off the ball. His average went up by 15 pins. The harder you throw it the better the chance you punch right though and the less time the ball and pins spend together.
But yeah, sometimes you'll roll the perfect ball, right in the pocket, and get 2.Comment
