Minneapolis LAN Party April 27th

Things are comming together for a large LAN party in Minneapolis on April 27th. I should have a web page up with more info soon.

For now here are the basic details:

Room for 106 computers
Each player gets 1/2 of a 6' x 30" table (3' per person)
Ample power
Fully Switched Network (not a hub in the house)
Internet Access (don't have to worry about getting that latestet driver/patch)
Cost is not determined, but no more than $20 per computer.

I would love to make this an informal AO get together.

mmm lan party...i remember packing up all my stuff...driving 30 mins downtown hauling my gear up 2 flights of stairs and playing cs 7 hours straight! now only if i lived in minneapolis...which i dont...

We are on the 2nd floor, but there is an evevator avalible. We should also have a few carts for people to use. And common, Minneapolis only adds a couple days to the commute.

haha elevator good when lugging a 70 pound monitor and 35 pound computer case...phew! ever had bawls before? its that high-energy drink, good stuff!

Hey Hexis, I just noticed you live in the great city of Minneapolis as well. Know of any other MPLS AOers? Do you play Polar Bear?
