AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I need to fix my GTA3 for PS2 game, because it's scratched and isn't working right. Does this CD Doctor stuff really work? And where can I get it? I need it bad...
NEED GTA3!!!
"If everything is under control your not moving fast enough."
Yep, they work great. It's one of those "too good to be true" things that actually works. Kind of ridiculous how it took 15 years to come out with them, but now that they're out I'm grateful to have one. Grab some extra wheels for it though, they have a tendancy to wear down. Get the package with the double wheel, not the one with wheel and a spray (the spray is water, nothing more) because they cost the same amount.
I was lost...for some reason I read doctor cd instead of cd doctor so I was thinking to myself "extra wheels!? spray!? whaaaaaaaa!? what the hell kind of cd is it!!"
disc doctor? we dont need no stinkin' disc doctor! ive always used lukewarm water and mild soap to wash off cd's and use a soft towel to dry...works wonders

Bad Traders: None yet!
There is this great stuff I use called ClearKote CD Restorer, It works on all cds. I use it alot, its not for real big scratches, but it works great with small ones.
And its not just water, cuz it says harmful if swallowed.
Its spray stuff..
I dont know where to get it, but I recommend it..
I have the game doctor, and it repaired my GTA3 to perfect working condition. It really depends on how severe the scratches are. My GTA3 had a couple minor scratches, it took those out in maybe 5 times. On the other hand, I have been working on my Diablo disc for some 2 hours and have not come close to repairing the scratches, I think that one is not repairable, but the scratches were insanely bad on it. I have tried the stuff made by Maxell, while it does give a better finish with less small scratches, it can't hardly do anything to any scratch that affects gameplay. It does work well in conjunction with the game Dr, it gives the resurfaced disc a much better appearance. Either way, I have yet to find a better way to repair discs than my Game Dr. I guess the very best way to fix scratched discs would be to not let them get scratched in the first place.
