Well, here's another person wearing an animal costume (Me!)
The TRPC (Toronto's recreational paintball club) hosts monthly parties, and the last one included a costume contest. Naturally, only three of 50 or 60 people wore costumes, allowing me to win first place. I won't complain too loudly, because between the costume contest and a for fun "scratch team" tournament I won 2 jersies, 2 shirts and some other miscellaneous stuff
