You trade that 147 pound pump rifle for it ?
What'd you get in the mail today?

So broke my New Years resolution.
Bought a Palmerized KP. My first real nice brass gun. It arrived last Thursday
Likely going to sell it soon

Anno wear is the mark of a gun not being worn. Decide on whether or not this is a wall hanger, sometimes gun or a ready use gun.
This is also not an original. Though this is nice, this is not as much as one of them regardless of what people may say. Even my non-pump caring self knows that an original Grey Ghost is a special beast.
You can try tape, oil, maybe a thin piece of delrin that will wear or not mar the surfaces. That is the best i can do. But use it, that was what the gun was made for.Comment

Ive had my new series ghost for about 6 years and I love it. Congrats on a great purchase!
The anno on the barrel gets a little scuffed but it's not that bad - especially since the pump handle covers up the area that gets scuffed anyway. The only way to avoid scratching up that nice silver big-shot barrel, is to put a different barrel on while you play. Spyder threads, if you're wondering.
Also - word to the wise - occasionally tighten those brass fittings during play. They loosen up over the course of a day of play and the last thing you want to do is lose them on the field.
