    Hey,

I could really use some help from someone who owns a 3D printer, and may be willing to help me print a small plastic piece.

          hmm,
im kinda busy with a project for another person.

what is the part used for?
you could send it to shape ways, they can probably 3D scan it and print it for you, but you will probably pay more then you want to.

It's a plastic retainer clip for my car that is not in production anymore, and car dealerships no longer carry the part.
The retainers hold the seat back covers to the driver and passenger seats.

There is your answer. The part is priceless and i am sure that others could be in the same boat as you. Though you want it cheap, does holding on the seat covers that important to you to possibly spend a few bucks to have a couple more made? If the dealers don't have this then having a small run(don't know how many you need, though spares are always handy) and having them to flip would offset the c9sts of being made.
