The south's ennunciation of words has long been a problem even for the semi educated. I don't hold it against the region, just the parents. -

Isn't this breaking some law? Maybe not in a state like FL, but an 11 year old brandishing a handgun would at least land the parent in jail in most other states, even if it was in self defense.

Definitely an odd story, even without the odd "bullets" pronunciation.
Many videos on Youtube of children shooting intruders so that isnt one of the oddities.
Emptied the gun and only hit him once.
He fired shots at a guy that wasnt a threat (he said he was walking away).
Laughed at the guy on TV, probably not a smart move.
If the kid was an adult and he had killed the intruder, the resident would have ended up in prison seeing that the intruder was leaving and not a threat.
Its amazing they let that on the air with the strange "bullets" pronunciation.
