I've always contested that in the way back days, some people couldn't talk to a passenger and drive at the same time, but commuters didn't have talkative passengers that often.

Then came cell phones, and everyone gets to take that test.

Then came texting, and the test took a big step. Look Ma, no hands, no eyes!

Then came social media, and the test took another step.

Now comes augmented reality, and the test takes another leap. The target subjects tend to be younger with less experience too.

The day this came out I nearly hit several pedestrians wandering into the street... that's coming from a guy who's taken tactical driving courses for professional purposes, as well as advanced driver training, skid school, and left foot braking lessons. I've never had an accident. I've never had a ticket. I'd really hate to kill a kid, it'd screw up my whole day. It's slowed down a bit but it's still an issue. My neighbors now refer to how loud our area is as a "pokehonks" because for the last week, the two "gyms" on either side of us have generated enough blown horns (up from... zero) that I'm considering making a remix.
